Denver Rental Interior Styling

Not every great design requires a full renovation. Sometimes, it's about working with what you have, and what you can't change, to create a space that feels completely, authentically yours.
This client came to me with a rental that had good bones but no soul. She wanted her apartment to feel like home, not just a temporary landing spot. The challenge? No permanent changes allowed. The opportunity? A blank canvas ready for personality, warmth, and a little Parisian flair.
The Challenge:
The client wanted her rental to feel like home. Not just a temporary place to land. She craved warmth, personality, and a space that felt distinctly hers, even though she couldn't make permanent changes to the walls or layout.
The Approach:
This project was all about creating a collected, lived-in aesthetic that felt like a Parisian pied-à-terre—cozy, layered, and full of character. We mixed new pieces with what Taylor already owned (including her impressive book collection, which became a design feature on its own).
I sourced accessories from a mix of Denver shops. Some new, some thrifted, to create that curated, "I've been collecting these for years" vibe. The goal was a space that felt intentional without being precious. Warm without being overly styled. Cool without being cold.
The Details:
Sofa + Swivel Chair: Room and Board
Media Console, Coffee Table, Mirror, Counter Stools: West Elm
Rug: CB2
Plug-in Wall Sconce: Cedar & Moss
Pillows: Ivy Stone
Styling Accessories: Collected from various Denver shops (new + thrifted)
Books: The client's personal collection
The Result:
A living room that feels like the client. Inviting, warm, and layered with personality. A rental that finally feels like home.
(Note: We also styled this home's primary bedroom and roof patio as part of this project.)
